Nick Has been with JR Products for almost ten years! In his tenure, he has held multiple positions throughout the company. He began the first six years of his journey in the warehouse, mastering multiple roles. Everything from production to picking and shipping to material handling. At the time, Nick was one of very few people that was able to perform any function or position required in the warehouse. For the last three years, Nick has been working on the customer service front, ensuring that we provide our customers with first class service! He initially started with customer projects, then moved to order entry, receiving a true understanding for the needs of our customers. With his hard work and dedication Nick was then promoted to Sales Manager and Customer Service Manager, where he has held this position for the last two and a half years.
When we asked Nick what he likes most about his job, he stated ‘Starting in the warehouse then moving to my current position has allowed me to see this company as a whole! It has also given me product training to better service our customers. I enjoy helping people, and this lets me do that’. Nick also added ‘the fact that I was able to rise from the bottom to the top is amazing! All because this company was willing to train me and have faith that I can do the work!’.
A little about Nick outside of work! He and his girlfriend April have been together over 5 years. They are currently searching for the house; they will forever call their home. Nick cannot wait for the day he can get down on one knee and ask April to marry him (and this is not secret, so this will not be a spoiler alert for April!) Nick received his education from Starpoint high school and went to work directly after high school on a Horse Farm. In Nick’s spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors including camping and hiking with friends. He also enjoys reading anything he can about history, and taking the time to visit battlefields, forts and historical areas throughout the country. If he had to pick a favorite band, it would be The Beatles!
It is individuals like Nick, that allow JR Products to move forward, focus on customers and have a tremendous impact to those around him. We are proud to have Nick as an employee of JR Products.
