JR Products thrives on being innovative and unique with their marketing and advertising. This includes many items such as creating a new catalog or print material, coordinating trade shows, new product creation, developing promotional items, company branding, working with Warehouse Distributors and so much more. But to accomplish that, they need someone that shines in the Marketing department. With that, meet Jill Carlo, JR Product’s Marketing Manager.
Jill has been with the company almost 5 years! When we asked Jill what the favorite part of her position is, she stated ‘I absolutely love coming up with creative content. Whether it is a brochure, a logo, new catalogs ect. It’s definitely where I excel the most and have the most fun’. In Jill’s position, she spends much of her time on creative design for all aspects of the company. Everything from catalogs and brochures to new logo’s and print ads.
Outside of work, Jill lives a remarkably busy life. She grew up in Lockport New York and attended Fredonia State University where she acquired her bachelor’s degree in Media Art. Jill currently lives with her amazing husband, Richard, and their gorgeous two-year-old daughter Hadley. They also have a second baby on the way! Another little girl, which they are absolutely thrilled about. As for fur babies, Jill has two adorable cats, Dexter and Middy, and Hadley loves to play with them. Jill mentioned ‘Being a wife and mother is truly the greatest gift I could have ever asked for. Watching my daughter grow, learn and develop a personality (even the sass) has been such a rewarding experience’.
In Jill’s spare time she loves spending time with her family. They enjoy being outdoors and going for walks, swimming, sailing, and visiting their family members. Jill and her husband also love to travel when they can. They have been to Alaska, Bermuda, Iceland and the Caribbean. Jill stated, ‘We look forward to the day when we can have a family vacation.’
Her favorite hobby is photography. She has been practicing photography for years and continues to learn new skills to capture distinct and beautiful photos. She even uses her own photos in various literature for JR Products.
